Nominees for the 10th Korean Music Awards Announced

The nominees for the 10th annual Korean Music Awards were released. Unlike majority of other major music awards in Korea, Korean Music Awards do not take sales into consideration, and the winners (excluding the Netizen’s Choice Award) are determined by a panel of music critics and industry experts, similar to the Grammy’s in the USA. The full list of nominees are below. The ceremony will take place on February 28.

Indi Go Chart: July 11-25

Some pretty good domination on both charts with week by Epitone Project (에피톤 프로젝트), taking three spots on the top-10 of the album chart and three on the top-10 of the singles chart.

As far as new releases go, the best was the new Broccoli, You Too (브로콜리너마저) album, at No. 2. But outside of the top 10, there was also the new Lucite Tokki (루싸이트 토끼) album, Grow to Glow, at No. 14; and female singer-songwriter Rossy PP (로지피피), with a new EP, 29, making its debut at No. 40.
