Buga Kingz and Boohwal’s Jung Dong Ha Make Their Immortal Song 2 Debut

This week’s Immortal Song 2 featured many new faces including hip hop group Buga Kingz and legendary rock group BooHwal‘s vocal, Jeong Dong Ha. A total of 12 artists came to celebrate the music of legends Yoon Hyung Ju and Kim Se Hwan.
Park Wan Kyu was present in the audience to root on BooHwal’s Jung Dong Ha but was also given the opportunity to choose the first performer. Much to their luck, Buga Kingz kicked off part one of the show with a refreshingly fun remake of Kim Se Hwan’s “화가 났을까” (Must She Be Angry?) Formed in 1999 and led by the soulful Bobby Kim, Buga Kingz put great energy into the performance giving the song a hip hop vibe. Buga Kingz captured one win against r&b group Eye to Eye before losing to Jeong Dong Ha.
Once featured in Boohwal’s episode of Immortal Song 2 as a legend, Jeong Dong Ha is back on his own as a performer. Wanting to establish an identity as a vocalist, he chooses Kim Choo Ja‘s classic “그럴 수가 있나요” (Can it Be). Jung makes the best of his strong vocals and truly gives a show stopping performance impressing the legends Yoon Hyung Joo and Kim Se Hwan and his fellow competitors. Jeong Dong Ha went on to beat Buga Kingz, MBLAQ‘s G.O, Hwa Yo Bi and Cha Ji Yeon becoming the winner of part one.
Will Jeong Dong Ha continue his winning streak? Find out next week on part two of Immortal Song 2: Yoon Hyung Ju & Kim Se Hwan special!
